Cricket video coaching, in three taps.
SKrutin turns a single iPad at the nets into a full coaching lab — record, replay in slow motion, draw over the action, get AI-scored shots, and send your player home with a clip they will actually watch.

What it does
One iPad, end-to-end coaching feedback.
SKrutin packages the analytical work that good coaches already do — slow-motion review, shape annotations, biomechanics — into something that ships in three taps and lands on the player's phone before they leave the ground.
Record on the iPad
Multi-camera recording at 60–240 fps. Tap once between deliveries; the app trims dead time automatically so you only review the ball.
AI-interpolated slow motion
RIFE frame interpolation gives you smooth slow-motion even from a 30 fps capture. Scrub frame-by-frame on the iPad, then push to the player.
Ball tracking + line/length
The ball gets tracked across the pitch. You see line, length, and pitch zone overlaid, so you can have a real conversation about what landed where.
Biomechanics scoring
Pose estimation breaks the action into shoulder line, elbow angle, head position, and follow-through. Each dimension gets a score and a recommendation.
Coaching note, written for you
Claude turns the technical analysis into a clear, age-appropriate coaching note. The coach reviews and approves; the player receives in their language.
Share to WhatsApp in one tap
The player and parent get a link to the clip + report. Annotations, slow-mo, audio voice-over — all in the browser, no app install required.
Offline-first at the nets
Record without signal. Clips queue and flush when the iPad reconnects. Built for academies in regional grounds and overseas tours.
Plays nicely with FlikVault
Already running FlikVault for sessions and billing? SKrutin drops in as your video AI. Run it standalone if you don't need the AMS yet.
The workflow
From the bowler's mark to the parent's phone.
Record
Mount the iPad. Tap to capture the over. SKrutin trims, indexes, and tags clips by player and shot type.
Review
Slow-motion + ball overlay + biomechanics scores. The coach annotates with a finger or Apple Pencil; voice notes are auto-captioned.
Send
One tap publishes to the player and parent. They see the clip, the note, and the score — and so does the academy report.
Who it's for
Two paths in. Same player outcomes.
SKrutin works as a personal tool for an individual coach, and as the video layer for a full academy. Pick whichever shape matches your operation today; switch when you grow.
Individual coach / pro
One iPad, your personal player roster, your annotations. Send clips home after every session. Useful for academy specialists, freelance batting coaches, and state-level age-group programmes.
Academy
Multiple coaches, multiple nets, shared squads. Reports flow into the academy management layer (FlikVault or your own AMS) so directors see what is actually happening on the ground, not just what was scheduled.
Frequently asked
What is SKrutin?
SKrutin is an iPad-first video coaching tool for cricket. A coach films a delivery, taps once, and the player gets slow-motion replay, ball-flight overlay, biomechanics scoring, and a Claude-powered written coaching note — without the coach leaving the nets to edit anything.
Do I need any extra hardware besides an iPad?
No. A reasonably modern iPad (10th gen or M-series) on a tripod is all you need. SKrutin records, analyses, and reviews entirely on the device. We do recommend a stable mount and a quick-release tripod head if you switch ends often.
Does it work without a network at the nets?
Yes. SKrutin records and stores clips offline. When the iPad reconnects, the upload queue flushes automatically and the AI analysis catches up. Coaches who train at remote grounds use it daily without a hotspot.
Can my whole academy use it, or is it one coach at a time?
Both. A single coach can run it on their personal iPad. Academies can deploy SKrutin across all their nets and bring sessions, players, and reports under one umbrella. Either way, the player walks away with their clip.
How does it work with FlikVault?
If your academy already runs FlikVault for sessions, billing, and reports, SKrutin slots in as the video AI provider. Clips uploaded in FlikVault get analysed by SKrutin and the coaching report flows back automatically. You can also use SKrutin standalone — no FlikVault required.
